Experienced usd HeroLab security analysts systematically prepare the students of this year\u2019s \u201cSummerschool\u201d for their involvement in pentesting projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Julian Brecht, student at Technische Universit\u00e4t Darmstadt, about this year\u2019s Summerschool: \u201eI\u2019ve found the class to be very educational. We learned about many common vulnerabilities and gained important insights into pentesting and how to use our skills responsibly. We were able to apply all those insights while training in a test environment and gained some valuable practical experience.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are convinced that \u201cmore security\u201d starts with young talent. For this reason, we have developed the training program so that our working students and new full-time employees are thoroughly trained in our major service field of pentesting,\u201d adds Markus Ritter, Managing Consultant at usd HeroLab and co-founder of the usd HeroLab training program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the training program \u201cBecome a HeroLabber\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training program is offered for the classes of working students of the \u201cSummer\u201d or \u201cWinterschool\u201d twice a year. Experienced usd HeroLab security analysts have developed the program specifically to impart their knowledge to the students and teach them the skills required to perform pentest tasks responsibly. The basic IT security training covers the differences in requirements for pentests in contrast to capture-the-flag competitions and vulnerability scans. In practical courses, the participants learn how to use the\u00a0<a href=\"\/en\/the-way-we-work\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\">internal usd HeroLab tools<\/a>\u00a0and sit through a final exam based on usd quality specifications.
